Piedmont Education Foundation Announces 2026–27 Giving Campaign Co-Chairs
The Piedmont Education Foundation (PEF) is thrilled to announce Bindu Lokre, Brook Meakins, and Ellie Somers as co-chairs of the 2026–27 Giving Campaign in support of Piedmont’s public schools.
Lokre, Meakins, and Somers each bring a deep commitment to the community and a shared history of leadership. They understand that powerful community support shapes exceptional educational opportunities for all students. From the playgrounds where friendships begin to the classroom programs that inspire curiosity and creativity, every element of our schools contributes to a well-rounded, mindful, and engaging educational journey.
“All three of us have served our elementary schools as parent club presidents and saw firsthand that the single most impactful way to support our schools is through a strong Giving Campaign,” said the co-chairs. “We are excited to bring our community together, build momentum, and inspire as many people as possible to be part of this essential effort.”
Rooted in the belief that schools are the heart of the community—and that the community rises to support its schools—the Giving Campaign is a cornerstone of PEF’s mission, helping to fund vital programs and resources that enrich the student experience.
The 2026–27 Giving Campaign will officially launch on Tuesday, September 22, kicking off a season of community-wide participation and support. More information on how to get involved will be shared in the fall.
