Piedmont Education Foundation Announces New Board Members

The Piedmont Education Foundation (PEF) welcomes four new members to its 2018-2019 Board of Directors. The new board members bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the PEF Board. All have spent years volunteering and fundraising for a wide variety of parent, civic and educational organizations.

The incoming board members are Angel Fierro, Nicki Gilbert, Mary Ireland, and Linda Smith Munyan.

“We are very excited to welcome our new Board members,” says Heather Frank, Executive Director of PEF. “They bring a wide variety of skills and experience to the board which will help us uphold our mission in supporting Piedmont schools.”

The PEF nominating committee was led by Molly Ashford and Rick Smith. The committee met over several months to find the right mix of parents and community members to serve on the Board.

The new members were officially welcomed at the final PEF board meeting on May 16, 2018.
