he Piedmont Recreation Department is excited to announce the 4th annual Play Like a Girl+ Piedmont event will be on Sunday, May 4, 2025 (10am-2pm). The event will feature 20 sports ranging from roller derby to skateboarding. Girls+ (ages 2-18) are invited to come kick, throw, hit, shoot and play like a girl+!!

Once again, we are partnering with the Piedmont Unified School District as well as sports organizations from Piedmont, Oakland, Berkeley and beyond. There will be music, live demonstrations, a sports raffle, a Sports Equipment Swap hosted by Dress Bess for Less and professional and Olympic athletes.

JUST ANNOUNCED! Don’t miss out on the chance to play basketball with former WNBA player Layshia Claredon or take a picture wearing the medals of 5-time Olympic gold medal swimmer Dana Volmer!
