Gear Up for Bike to School Festival.  

When: Saturday, May 9th, 11-4 p.m.

Where: Havens Blacktop, 323 Highland Ave. Piedmont, CA, 

Families, bring your bikes and helmets!

No bikes… still lots to do, join us! 

This is an all ages event.

• • Family biking ride and learn, by 12-2 Start (must be there at the start, parents bring your bikes also.) 
  • Bike obstacle course, by PPD and the Scouts
  • Pedal powered blender smoothies, by the Scouts
  • Pedal powered spin art, (makes perfect mothers day cards) by Rock the Bike
  • Bike maintenance help, by Oakland Trek

• Helmets 101

• Kids bike swap, bring outgrown bikes, equipment, parts to swap with other families. Adult bikes as well. 

• Map your ride: draw your route to school, connect with other riders and form a student “bike-pool”, mark areas of concern, and meet Piedmont BPAC (bike pedestrian advisory committee) members.
