Meet our Program Director, Ella Levine! Ella began her math education as a young child, working closely with her grandfather, who was a math professor in Russia. She won multiple awards in math olympiads during her high school years. In 2007, she moved to Paris, where she studied French, Russian, and American math curricula and teaching methods. She used this research to develop her own techniques for teaching math to children.

FireCracker Math offers afterschool classes and winter and summer camps at our locations in Oakland/Piedmont, Berkeley, Lafayette, Mill Valley, online as well as other cities in the Bay Area, as well as onsite after-school classes at various public and private schools, custom learning pods, private lessons, summer camps, and test & contest preparation.
