Tuesday, February 17th marks the first day of the Lunar New Year, a special holiday celebrated by many Asian communities. Friends and family gather to eat, play games, and do other activities to welcome health, good fortune, and happiness in the new year.  Please join us to celebrate Lunar New Year Sunday, February 1st from 10:00am to 1:00pm at the Beach Blacktop.  We will have food, drinks, activities, and games, including a free raffle!

If there is a way that your family traditionally celebrates Lunar New Year that you would like to share with the Beach community, please let us know!  We are looking in particular for anyone who would be interested in performing (e.g., playing an instrument, singing, reciting a poem).
