Join us for a fascinating and fun-filled event that dives into the secret lives of one of nature’s most incredible creatures – bees! Discover amazing bee facts, learn how these tiny pollinators communicate and organize their hives, and find out what you can do to help them thrive in your own backyard. Local Piedmont beekeeper Pamela Weimer will bring her demonstration hive and share insider knowledge about bee behavior, hive life, and the vital role bees play in our ecosystem. You’ll even get to sample different varieties of local honey—a true taste of nature!
Valerie Matzger from the Piedmont Garden Club will offer practical tips on how to plant a bee-friendly garden, with the best flowers, herbs, and native plants to support pollinators year-round. Whether you’re a gardener, a nature lover, or simply bee-curious, this event will leave you buzzing with inspiration!
