Dear PUSD Community,
We have an opportunity to come together and discuss how the recent New York Times articles (links below) have touched or impacted us and how we continue to demonstrate unity to meet the Board of Education equity challenge.
The District is hosting Community Circles for PUSD staff, MHS/PHS students, parents, and community members on Tuesday, March 29, from 3:30-4:30 pm and 7:00-8:00 pm in the Havens Library.
It is our hope that you attend and if not able, that after reading, you will discuss any aspects of these articles with a trusted colleague, with your family, or friends.
Fighting racism is a journey that takes courage and requires all of us to consistently show up and do the hard work. I’m proud of PUSD’s commitment to racial equity and invite everyone to take one anti-racist action in response to these articles–big or small. Together we can!
Please complete this FORM to RSVP if you plan to attend one or both of the circle discussions.
