Volunteer Opportunity for Teens

Piedmont Recreation Department (PRD) Seeking Teen Sidekicks! Teen Sidekicks are truly committed and enjoy working closely with neurodiverse students. The Sidekicks program simply would not be possible without the help of our amazing Teen Sidekick volunteers. With the increase in programs this fall, PRD is looking for additional teens (ages 14+) to help create lasting memories and play an integral role in supporting the growth and overall experience for children with neurodiverse needs.

This unique experience is unlike any other and is incredibly rewarding. Sidekicks attend a training and are fully supported by PRD staff. Community service hours are available upon request. Sidekicks may be eligible to receive a letter of recommendation. No experience necessary.
