As part of our mission to promote academic excellence, champion innovation, and provide sustained financial support to the Piedmont Unified School District (PUSD), PEF provides consultation and support services to eligible 501c3 non-profit organizations whose primary missions are to support PUSD.

WHAT

PEF Fundraising Services is a program that helps Parent Clubs and school support groups organize, coordinate and track their fundraising efforts for the Piedmont schools.  Fundraising Services provides fee-based support for membership drives, events, parties, mailers, brochures – and general know-how to the many volunteers signed on for duty.

Are you eligible for our services?

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for PEF Fundraising Services, an organization must meet the following criteria:

  • The organization is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization whose explicit mission is to support PUSD, or one of its six schools.
  • The services being sought are in support of a fundraising event or school-based activity

If so, here’s what we can do for you:

Membership Drive / Online Registration Services

  • In conjunction with back to school online registration, we will prepare and manage your organization’s online presence and collect member data on your behalf.
  • Membership Dues Collection:  PEF will act as fiscal agent for all funds received through online registration including member dues and donations, less a 3% credit card fee deduction.

Fee: Online Registration & Fund Management = ($1 – $9,999 raised) $250 OR ($10,000+ raised) $500 + $40 one-time software use fee

FUNDRAISING & COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTATIONS

  • Our professional fundraising and communications staff will work with you to develop annual fundraising and event plans, communication strategies, timelines, promotions, data segmentation, copy editing and campaign management tools.
  • We are committed to supporting all organizations in a productive and collaborative working relationship with PUSD, including participation in the LCAP and PEF grants process.

Fee:   Consultations = $40/hour

SPECIAL EVENT SUPPORT

  • Our professional event managers can work with you to develop your event plan; venue and catering recommendations, auction consultation, contract negotiation, promotions, mailing and invitation development.
  • The PEF office can support your event with email communications, online ticket sales, and attendee data management.
  • For an additional fee, our staff can augment your volunteers on event load in, set up, registration, and overall event management.

Fees: Initial Consultation, Event Planning, Event Staffing = $40/hour

SATELLITE OFFICE USE -- NEW!

  • The PEF Office space is available for your use and can be reserved ahead of time using our new google calendaring system. This includes a desk, a computer, and access to tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Constant Contact, and printers. Other tools and resources may be available upon request.
  • Unless reserved, office space is on a first-come, first-served basis

Fee: No Charge (Excessive use of supplies, etc. may result in a nominal fee)

Collaboration (“small-town & good-neighbor”) guidelines

COLLABORATION GUIDELINES

To ensure collaborative and collegial interactions, as a condition of working with Piedmont Education Foundation (on behalf of PUSD) on mutually agreeable events and fundraising activities, all Parent Club and Support Group representatives agree to operate according to the highest ethical and financial standards including a commitment to:

  • Financial and accounting best practices
  • Productive and respectful communication (including email, both internal and external)
  • Responsible data privacy management
  • Collaborative partnering with the District
  • Overall professional conduct
