SPONSOR STEVE ON HIS RUN!
MORE INFORMATION
60 laps on 60-year-old legs?
Steve runs + we donate = Our kids win!
On May 23, Dr. Steve Sidney will celebrate his birthday by attempting to run a lap of Piedmont's Witter Field track for each of his 60 years. You can support this
ambitious goal — and Piedmont kids — by sponsoring laps.
Steve is raising funds for the Piedmont Ed Foundation, one of our community's crown jewels. The Ed Foundation provides K-12 District-wide funding support, and finances innovative grants for curriculum, technology equipment, libraries, and professional development for all Piedmont schools.
Education budgets have never faced greater challenges than they do today–although 60-year-old legs attempting nearly 15 miles face a pretty signficant challenge as well.
Steve Sidney, a Piedmont parent and education advocate, will do his part for our kids on May 23. Let's do ours! Donate $1/lap, $5/lap, $10/lap, or whatever amount suits you. Do it today!
To support our kids' education, enter the amount you'd like to give Steve per lap he completes, and click "Donate" in the box at the right-hand side of this page to make your donation.
Or donate at Witter Field, 8:30-11:00 AM May 23 and watch Steve run — spectators are welcome to join Steve for all or part of the run!
The Piedmont Educational Foundation is a registered 501(c) (3) non-profit organization; all donations made are tax-deductible.
