Funding for Piedmont Schools Provided by the Piedmont Educational Foundation

Piedmont has great schools. They offer an amazing array of educational opportunities for our children, in small classes, with well-trained and dedicated teachers. Our schools are able to offer so much, when most school systems in California cannot, because of the commitment and generosity of Piedmont citizens. We are fortunate to have a vehicle within Piedmont that helps sustain this excellence: the Piedmont Educational Foundation.

Funding from PEF comes from two main sources: The Foundation Fund and the Endowment Fund. The Foundation Fund funds grants that support academic excellence and/or innovation. The Endowment Fund provides sustained financial support for our school district.
