Funding for Piedmont Schools: The PEF Foundation Fund

Donations to our Foundation Fund campaign support the Piedmont Educational Foundation’s Grants program. The program delivers academic excellence and innovation to all six Piedmont schools by funding teacher and administrative grants. We actively solicit donations from the Piedmont community semi-annually via our newsletter The Patron.

Every year teachers and administrators from all school sites submit grant proposals designed to inspire and motivate students and advance the use of cutting edge curriculum. Our Foundation Fund grants provide support for innovative academic programs including computer technology, guest speakers, teacher training and much more. These grants go directly into the classroom, providing students with hands-on access to the latest developments in math and science. They also support our art, literature and music curriculum, physical education and social science programs.

At a time when schools across the State struggle to maintain basic programs, the Grants program allows us to help preserve and enhance Piedmont public schools’ exemplary standing.
