Funding for Piedmont Schools: The PEF Foundation Fund

Donations to our Foundation Fund campaign support the Piedmont Educational Foundation’s Grants program. The program delivers academic excellence and innovation to all six Piedmont schools by funding teacher, classroom and district grants, ranging from enrichment and resource opportunities to technology. We actively solicit donations from the Piedmont community annually via our newsletter The Patron.

Our Foundation Fund grants provide support for innovative academic and enrichment programs including computer technology, guest speakers, teacher training and development and much more. These grants go directly into the classroom, providing students with access to the latest developments in math and science. They also support our art, literature and music curricula, physical education and social science programs. More recently, the Foundation Fund also has provided vital support to the district in the form of unrestricted grants to help preserve academic programs.

At a time when schools across the state struggle to maintain basic programs, the Grants program allows us to help preserve and enhance Piedmont public schools’ exemplary standing.
