The Piedmont Student Directory
If there is one key communications tool for Piedmont school parents, it is probably the Student Directory. The Piedmont Educational Foundation (PEF) creates and publishes the Student Directory as a resource for the school community.
Providing a concise compendium of names, addresses and phone numbers of all Piedmont students and their parents, the Student Directory is consulted multiple times a day just about every day of the year.
In addition, there is a wealth of information in the back of the Directory: a cross-referenced section for families with multiple surnames, staff/ information/ schedules/ parent club rosters for each school site, School Board and Piedmont Unified School District information, boards of directors for all the school Support Groups, a community communications guide, summary of the many ways you can support the Piedmont schools, town map and much more.
Parents receive one copy free upon joining their child’s parents’ club. Additional copies are available for $10. Community members can receive a free copy by making a $250 donation to the PEF Foundation Fund.
The Directory Database is not given to any commercial enterprise, but is available to non-profit Piedmont organizations with permission of the Piedmont Educational Foundation. Commercial use of the directory is prohibited.
There are several easy ways to get information into the PEF database and thus into the Directory, which is published once a year in September. (Please note, inclusion of parent email addresses or parent cell phone numbers in the Directory is completely optional.)
- Go to a School Office: Request the PEF Piedmont Student Directory Listing Form from the school administrative assistant/registrar. Fill out the form and return it to the administrative assistant, who will forward the form to PEF.
- Fill out the Piedmont Student Directory Listing form located in the Student Directory and mail it to:

and mail your completed form to us at:

In the subject box of your email, write “Directory Listing.” And in the body of the email tell us what should be changed.
- Call the PEF office at 653-1816
If you receive the answering machine, leave your name and phone number and a PEF representative will contact you.
